    Tea Party Anyone?

We’re still trying to understand the end game of these tea party protests (and how they aren’t considered racist).

My husband and i were very fortunate when Ervin could finish off his preliminary research while using the ideas he had using your web pages. It is now and again perplexing to simply continually be releasing information people have been selling. So we know we’ve got the writer to be grateful to for this. The main illustrations you have made, the straightforward site menu, the friendships you can make it easier to engender – it is mostly fantastic, and it’s letting our son and us imagine that that subject matter is excellent, which is quite pressing. Thank you for all!

    Pool Kicks Black Kids Out

More than 60 campers from Northeast Philadelphia were turned away from a private swim club and left to wonder if their race was the reason.

“I heard this lady, she was like, ‘Uh, what are all these black kids doing here?’ She’s like, ‘I’m scared they might do something to my child,'” said camper Dymire Baylor.

The Creative Steps Day Camp paid more than $1900 to The Valley Swim Club. The Valley Swim Club is a private club that advertises open membership. But the campers’ first visit to the pool suggested otherwise. (More …)

Doesn’t suprise me one bit…I wouldn’t want my kids in a space that they’re not welcome…I’d chuck my chin up and leave, find a new spot for the kids to swim, and touch base with an attorney and a few media outlets…I don’t think this type of thing should be suprising…hate never dies.

    #JSticks Tweet Chat 6/1/09: Topic #3

TOPIC #3: Sonia Sotomayor’s nomination for Supreme Court…are we pleased with the coverage she is getting in media? Is it too much focus on Sotomayor’s RACE and not her Stance on issues?

aliyasking: I still want her on the Supreme Court. But her quote can’t be defended. Of course, I can’t say she’s a racist. But that quote. UGH

aliyasking: Here’s the link with “that” quote: http://feministlawprofessors.com/?p=10952

theparkerreport I think Sonia Sotomayor’s coverage is pretty fair. By all accounts she’s a pro. And those comments were out of line. She should NOT have used the word “Better” and it was NOT out of context from the speech I read. Still rooting for her.

Journalisticks: Roland Martin made a career for himself thanks to Obama’s run, what Latino/a journo/critic will blow up cause of Sotomayor?

mimivaldesryan: Sotomayor would bring more federal judicial experience to the bench than any Supreme Court justice in 100 years. Can’t beat that! (More …)

I would like to show thanks to this writer just for bailing me out of this particular predicament. Because of surfing throughout the internet and obtaining tips that were not pleasant, I thought my entire life was gone. Being alive without the solutions to the problems you have solved all through your main posting is a critical case, and the ones which could have adversely damaged my career if I had not come across the website. Your personal natural talent and kindness in controlling every aspect was helpful. I’m not sure what I would have done if I had not come across such a step like this. I’m able to at this moment look ahead to my future. Thanks for your time very much for this reliable and results-oriented help. I will not hesitate to endorse the sites to anybody who should receive support on this situation.
